David Lovelady Obituary
David Gene Lovelady David Gene Lovelady, age 47, of Austin, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2006. David was born on January 24, 1959, at Sheppard Air Force Base Hospital, Wichita Falls, TX. He attended Lanier High School and served in the U.S. Navy. David is survived by his parents, Al and Barbara Lovelady; sister, Cheri Courtney and husband Reid of Pflugerville, TX; and brothers, Douglas Moran of Rockwall, TX, Michael Wyckoff of Round Rock, TX, and Joseph Lovelady of Austin; and cousins Larry and Ben Doty of Abilene, TX; and numerous nephews and nieces in the Austin Area. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2006, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/ Capital Parks Funeral Home, Pflugerville, TX. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, with Dr. Steven Washburn officiating. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/ Capital Parks Cemetery.

I did not know David very long. I thought a lot of him. I was very sorry that he is gone and he will be missed. I know he is "saved" and he is on his way to Heaven. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. It was a pleasure to know him and a fellow veteran, too.
Anyway, my deepest sympathies. Thank you. He knew me as Doug Wilson
