David Patterson Obituary
Suddenly on Sunday, July 3, 2005 of Bowie, MD. Husband of Joanna L. "Jo-Jo" Patterson; father of Bryce I. and David A. Patterson, Jr.; son of Donnie M. and Martha J. Patterson; grandson of Jess M. Patterson and Margaret E. Dotson; brother of Crystal G. Kavades, Wanda A. Doney, Thomas R. Patterson, Sr. and Donnie M. Patterson, Jr. Also survived by three nieces and three nephews. Family will receive friends at the EVANS FUNERAL HOME, Rt. 450 and Race Track Rd., Bowie, MD on Thursday, July 7, 2005 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday, July 8, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2005 at 10 a.m. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery.

To The Patterson Family,
We're so sorry for your loss. Dave will always be in our prayers. He will be remembered for so many things, but for most probably his smile, compassion and his adventureous personality. For some reason, God needed him in heaven. I pray that he keeps close watch over his family, and helps give them the strength to get through this. Our family is very grateful to have known Big Dave.
You will be missed.

David you will be missed , I am trying to understand why this had to happen to you. I will be here for your boys and JoJo. I can only hope you are in a better place,mom & dad are lost with out you we all are, but my promise to you is I will be keeping all your memories alive you will never be forgotten. To the entire Patterson family, I was so shocked to hear of David's passing. I offer my most heart-felt sympathy at this time. I hope that God will give you strength now and will, in time, bless you with peace. I did not know David very well, but everytime I saw him he always asked how I'd been and had a big smile on his face. I know he will be incredibly missed. Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family and everyone that had the pleasure of knowing David. He was the kind of person who didn't have to do or say anything, but could make you laugh by just being near him. He will never be forgotten and we will always cherish the memories we have. David I will miss you so much we had some great times and I will keep you in my heart.Alexa misses you very much also she says you were her favorite uncle. We got to grow up together and now our kids get to grow up together. We will keep you alive with our memories. Your kind heart made me smile and your goofy sense of humor kept me laughing. Oh, how I am going to miss all the great times we had together. I look forward to seeing you greet me at the door to heaven with a grand hug. You keep an eye on JoJo, Lil Dave, and Bryce. They need your strength to get through this. Keep your mom fighting through also, she is truly heartbroken.
