Raleigh, North Carolina - David Smith, age 70, died Thursday, October 21, 2021, at Wake Med Hospital.
David was a kind and very quiet man, who loved to golf, bowl, and play poker with his friends. He enjoyed coin collecting, appreciated his cichlid aquarium, and was a huge Duke fan.
David was proceeded in death by his Mother Joan Smith, Father James Smith, Brother Steve Smith, Sister Debbie Ellis, and Niece Srgt Joeleen Ellis.
He is survived by his brother Mark L. Smith and his wife Rhonda Smith, Nieces: Kim Simmons, Lynn Tedeton, Sarah Smith, Holly Smith, and Jennifer Smith, Nephews: James Simmon, Jason Smith, and Ryan Smith. And many grandnieces and grandnephews.
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday October 28, 2021 at 11:00AM at Mitchell Funeral Home 7209 Glenwood Ave Raleigh, NC with a visitation from 10-11AM.
