I am sadden to hear of Dean Ripley's passing, he was truly a good person. He gave me a vision of what I could do in real estate. I went on to open my mortgage and sub branches and it was all because he said "kid you got a good head for this business"-
Good Bye Mr. Ripley.

I met Dean and Connie in 1998 when I began working for them. Without question, they have been the most influential people in my life. They taught me how to be successful in so many ways. I looked at Dean as a second father. I can't even begin to list the things Dean taught me. Some of my fondest memories are from our 6:00 A.M. tennis games at the Milburn Park. Dean was probably the most generous person I ever met.

I was so sorry to hear of Dean's passing. We were classmates from Lampasas High School class of 1959. We went to the same church as school mates. I will always remember him working at Storms Dairy Cue, I would order frosted cokes and he would bring them to our car. He was a wonderful friend and we emailed each other and talk on the phone often. He will be deeply missed, our thoughts and prayers goes out to his family.

I'm so sorry to hear about Dean. I've know Dean since 1965 when he first moved to Dallas. My Mom and Dad were managing a apartment complex and Dean moved in. They all became great friends. Dean and I have stayed in contact all these years and I knew he had been having heart trouble. I considered him as a brother. He will be missed. God bless the family.

I was so sorry to hear that Mr Ripley had died. He was a blessing in my life for almost 20 years. I lived in one of his rental properties for that long and in difficult financial times, he had faith in me. Connie, I pray that the Lord comfort you during this difficult time.

I am so sorry to find out Dean had passed. I was searching the Internet for him, because I am planning to move back to Austin and saw this. My condolences go out to all of his loved ones. I worked for him many years ago when I lived in Austin and he was the kindest man that I had met. I will never forget our first meeting and send my blessing out to the rest of his family. May God bring you all comfort at this time.

I am so sorry to hear about Dean's passing. He was such an awesome man and also an awesome broker (my first broker in 2000). He was always so nice and helpful whenever I needed help or had questions. He will be sorely missed. I am so sorry for your loss Connie and Tosha and Dean's entire family.

Dean and I were boys together in Lampasas. He was always the smart one in school and we all knew he would be a great success at everything he tried.
We reconnected again in the late 90's when he called me up to say he needed more agents to sell real estate and what was I doing. I joined the company the next week with a new license. Dean and Connie were kind mentors and managers to all us agents. They ran a very successful business and became a wonderful asset to the city of Austin. Dean will be missed greatly. He was a lifelong friend and a gentle and kind man. The world does not have enough of his type. Farewell, Old Friend

Do you know what? Dean would know! He knew Everything! What an honor and Blessing to have worked with him and be his and Connie's friend all these years. He made me feel like family. He always made me laugh even during tough times and I lived vicariously thru him with his pictures of all of their adventures! I'm so glad Connie finally talked him into retiring and traveling and enjoying life. Good job Connie!
And he was so proud of the Grandkids and the Daughters that gave them to him! Dean knows he helped mold their lives to be very accomplished like he did with the girls. I think he will miss most being able to say "It's payback time" for their Mama's!
I'll miss his stories but I will cherish the memories.
Tasha, Traci and Teri -- my thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.
Also with you Connie. I last emailed with Dean on your Anniversary. I remembered! St. Paddy's Day. And he was proud of all those years together.
But remember he is at peace now. No more doctor's and he can eat and drink whatever he wants! He may be having a Martini with Jesus right now! We will see him again! Take care my friend!

I helped take care of Mr. Ripley in his final days. I felt very blessed to have known him, even for a short while. He brightened the room and was so polite --- I am sure that his legacy will live on and that his family will not forget him. Mrs. Ripley, thank you for allowing me in your home to help care for your husband and best friend. I'll keep you all in my heart and prayers.
