First met and spent time with Derek when his father, Greg and I had an apartment when we were student teaching at a large high school in Indianapolis. Derek loved to hang out. It was great growing up with Derek, Condolences to all the family! Memories of Hoops, Wiffle Ball, Hocky, Skiing, Music, many fun times, and catching up from time to time in our Adult life discussing family, friends, and life. Derek had a special zest for life and I´m sure he is sharing to those in heaven while waving the "Hoosier" Nat´l championship flags. RIP Derek and thanks for your friendship and memories
