January 12, 1929 - August 26, 2024
It is with deep sorrow and loving memory that we announce the passing of Edith "Edie" May Walters Christ on August 26, 2024, at the age of 95 after battling dementia.
Edie leaves behind her cherished husband of 73 years, Nick Christ; her children, Jeff (Sandra) and Carrie (Libby); her granddaughter, Halie Becker (Mike); and her adorable great-grandson, Crew. She is survived by her sister, Dorothy (Morrell); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to honor Edie's life will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 2 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at Cedarfield, 2300 Cedarfield Parkway, Henrico, VA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Edie to the Skipwith United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 32104, Henrico, VA 23294.

Edie was a great and pleasurable person, making everyone she met feel comfortable and accepted. I cherish my memories of her and know that she was (is) a blessing to me as I know she was (is) for so many others. She lives on in our hearts and minds, as well as with God.
