Very saddened by your loss of Ed. Some memories are impactful in ways that model others. So for all who enjoyed these memorable encounters, may they keep the place they found in your hearts. Psalm 62:11,12.; John 3:16.

We lost a shining star in our lives, but will always be grateful for having been a couple of his many friends....all of which he made feel were his best buddies. A true gentleman with the fruits of the Spirit. He loved to tease in a gentle way, welcoming you with that glorious Ed Cheek twinkle. Love Forever, Andrew and Nancy.

Barbara, Laura and Kim: Pat and I extend our sincere sympathy to you in the loss of Mr. Ed. You actually lost him twice--once to Alzheimers disease and once in his passing. Though we have only known you for such a short time we feel very close to you. Our youngest son Matt, who heads a law office here for a firm in New Orleans was a good was a good friend of Johnnie's in their younger days. I talked to my close friend Carl Guidry yesterday and he said he knew Mr. Ed as a great guy. God has put a big load on you all with your losses but we have to accept his will as difficult as it may be. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all. We hope you will come to visit us in the future (Haven,apt.243, phone 767-8955). In the mean time God bless you all.

So sorry I didn't see the notice in the paper. I really enjoyed the talks I had with Ed on my walks around the neighborhood. He always had a smile and kind words. Our love to the family.
