EILEEN EICH Obituary

Eileen L. Eich passed away April 30, 2011. She was born in Terre Haute, Indiana. She graduated from Wiley High School and attended Indiana State University-both in Terre Haute. Eileen's family moved from Indianapolis to the west coast of Florida in 1956. She then moved to the Daytona area in 1987. She was a Savings Counselor in a Savings and Loan bank for 12 and half years and a teacher's aide in Pinellas County Schools for five years. For ten years, Eileen taught weaving, spinning, and basket making from her studio called The Wool Works. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church where she served as a Minister of the Eucharist for many years. Eileen is survived by her husband Malcolm J. Eich and children Karen Van Dusen, Dr. Kia McCullen, Patrick Van Dusen and his wife Dr. Laurie Van Dusen, Barbara Van Dusen and her husband Steve Bishop, and Joe Banana, granddaughters DeAnn Rosteet and her husband Daniel, and Katie Van Dusen. Great granddaughters Mary-Elizabeth Marie Rosteet and Ann-Margaret Eve Rosteet. Services will be at a date to be announced. Arrangements under the care and trust of Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Port Orange, FL.
