FAIRBORN — Eileen Sue Morton, age 78, of Fairborn, passed away on Wednesday May 17, 2023 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born on July 22, 1944 in Mechanicsburg, PA to Jean and Helen (Hess) Conant. Eileen formerly owned and operated Rainbow Lakes in Fairborn, Ohio. She was a member of Shooting Stars and Twinbase Square Dance Clubs. She loved her Grandchildren, gardening, animals and music. On July 20, 1974 she married Elmer Morton. She is survived by her children Lisa and Steve Downard of Van Wert, OH, Angelo and Kay Stacy of Fairborn, Oh, Bill and Melodie Stacy of Louisville, KY, Jason Morton of Fairborn and Carla and Michael Powell of New Carlisle, OH.; her Grandchildren Sean Stacy, Sierra and Jeremy Bensing, Cortney Stacy, Ashley and Zach Sully, Keanna Bartholome, Malachi and Angelia Stacy, Hunter and Adriana Powell and Hannah Downard and 8 Great Grandchildren and brothers Jack and Mike Conant of Orlando FL She is preceded in death by her husband Elmer, her parents Jean and Helen and her brother Charles Conant. The family will receive friends on Friday May 26, 2023 from 12 noon to 2pm at the Burcham Tobias Funeral Home, 119 E. Main St., Fairborn, Ohio. A funeral service will follow at 2pm.
