Ernest Byrd Jr. 61, from Ithaca NY passed away peacefully on March 19 at Cayuga Medical Center. He was born in Volusia County Florida to Overlee Glover and Ernest Byrd Sr. He was a soulful, compassionate and creative man. He loved fishing, nascar racing and spending time with friends and family.
Ernest is survived by his father Ernest Byrd Sr. (Vivian), his brothers Edward Byrd (Jamilla), Ernest Laverne Fort, Earl Chilsom Jr., his sisters Earnestine Byrd and Keisha Barber. His children Nazelle Davis, Ebony Byrd and Montel Byrd. He also has two grandchildren Zacari and Avyonne. Along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Mother Overlee Glover, his brothers Cicero Fort, Greg Jenkins and his sister Virginia Lee Glover.
