EUGENIA WEST Obituary
On June 16, 1956 Jean married William Stuart West in Baltimore and relocated to Radnor, Pennsylvania in 1957. Jean and Bill lived in the Main Line area until 1994 when they moved permanently to Delray Beach, FL. He preceded her in death August 7, 1999. They were happily married for 43 years. Apart from being a loving wife and mother of four, Jean was involved in a variety of charity activities for organizations like Arcadia University, The Phoenixville YMCA and Roland Park Country School amongst many others. Surviving are four children; Stuart Lenox West (Stockholm, Sweden), Nancy Jean West Loch (Dallas, TX), Douglas Herman West (Downingtown, PA), Timothy Risberg West (Easton, CT) and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Wayne Presbyterian Church at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 29. In lieu of flowers please make donations in the memory of Jean L. West to the Phoenixville YMCA, 400 E Pothouse Rd, Phoenixville, PA 19460 or

A very special person and we have lost a precious friend from our college days. We all have fond memories of her athletic prowess and moreover just her being herself. An awesome person who was part of my early life at our Beaver College.

As one of Jean's college roommates, I remember the carefree days of college and the laughs we all shared. And. of course, we all shared those wonderful memories of her romance with Bill and the many happy years that followed. Also we were very proud of her athletic accomplishments during her four years at Beaver. She was a special person and will be fondly remembered.
