Faye Sikes Obituary

SIKES DENVER, NC - Faye Woodcock Sikes July 17, 1931 - Nov. 2, 2011 Mrs. Faye Woodcock Sikes, 80, of Denver, NC died Wednesday November 2, 2011 at the Sherrills Ford Hospice House. Born July 17, 1931 in Gulfport MS she was a daughter of the late Wiley Woodcock and Viola Bennett Woodcock. She was a former co-owner with her husband Raymond L. Sikes of Sikes Dental Studios, Inc formerly S & S Dental Laboratory, a family business for over 67 years. Graveside services will be conducted 2:30 p.m. Saturday November 5, at Sharon Memorial Park, Charlotte. The family will receive friends 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. prior to the graveside at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Cheryl (Gary) Clark of Winston Salem, Sandy (Mark) Randall and Lindy (Sharon) Sikes of Denver, four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers, Sonny & Roy; sister, Pearl and special friend and caretaker, Sally Kiser. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband of 39 years, Raymond L. Sikes, second husband of 14 years, Thomas Morphet and brother Buddy Woodcock. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658. Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Huntersville, NC is assisting the family, www.raymerfh.com.
