Condolences to family and friends. Long time residents of WPB are very familiar with the Chalhub family and the Carefree Theatre. The family supplied a place of enjoyment. God bless them all.

To the Chalhub Family:
Please accept my sincerest sympathies for the losee of Florence. What wonderful life which was well lived! I have the fondest memories of the Carefree Theater both as an entertainment center and as the temporary place of worship for the future St. Juliana's Catholic Church which I was a member of growing up in West Palm Beach. The first Mass which I attended as a child was at the Carefree Theater and I enjoyed the movies and the bowling league there as I was growing up. The Chalhub Family was always gracious to us. I will offer Mass for Florence this coming week at the Catholic Chapel at Camp Walker, Korea, where I am stationed as a Catholic Army Chaplain. God bless you all!
