News Death Notice
DEVER, Florence C. Age 92 of Miamisburg, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, September 3, 2015. She was born in Cincinnati on July 7, 1923 to the late, John and Theresa (Emminger) Roth. Also preceding her in death is her husband of 59 years, Everett DeVer (2004); brother, Harry and sisters, Helen and Marcella. She is survived by her children, Denise (David) Jenks, Dennis (Patty) DeVer and Daryl DeVer; grandchildren, Carrie (Dave) Newport, Dan (Tamme) DeVer, Chris Jenks, Matt (Stacy) DeVer, Jack (Amanda) DeVer, Marissa (Luke) Thompson, Abby (Rick) Drescher, Heather DeVer Melanie (Brad) Kavalunas and Michael Bowman; great-grandchildren, Mitchell, Katie, Emily, Emma, Samara, Keira, Nolan, Riley, Haley, Brittney, Emily, Sarah and Christina and many dear friends. Florence loved her family and having get togethers, traveling, the Cincinnati Reds and the Bengals. She will be remembered for being a hard worker, a good cook and her smile will never be forgotten. The family sends specials thanks to Kingston of Miamisburg and Crossroads Hospice for their love and support. Friends and family may visit from 6-8pm on Tuesday, September 8 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home. Mass will be at 11am on Wednesday, September 9 at Our Lady of Good Hope Church, Miamisburg with Fr. Tom Shearer, celebrant. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Good Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Crossroads Hospice or Our Lady of Good Hope Church in memory of Florence.
