Florence Marie Hayes ("Marie")

Florence Marie Hayes ("Marie"), 85, of Bakersfield, joined our Lord on February 16, 2018.
A native of Bakersfield, she was born to the late Charles W. Grimm and Flora O. Grimm (Rockholt).
Surviving are her children, Marilyn (Fred) Doran of Vacaville, California, Sandra (Larry) Jeffreys of Orcutt, California, and Jeffrey Hayes of Bakersfield, California; 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and her sister Louise Hutchison of Bakersfield, California. Marie was predeceased by her parents and the love of her life, her husband, Bob Hayes.
Arrangements for Marie's burial next to Bob are under the care of Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, California. Interment will be private. A memorial service will be conducted on Friday, March 2nd, 2:00 p.m. at Christ Cathedral Church, 2301 White Lane, Bakersfield, California.

A beautiful smile that would light up the room. Her ears truly listened, and her arms would always hold. My grandma, my friend. I will cherish our time together. She endured much, but complained little and always had a smile for her caregivers.
