Gary Brannock Obituary
Greenville
Gary Ann Brannock, age 80, wife of Ralph Arnold Brannock, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2013 at her home.
Born in Monroe, LA, she was a daughter of the late Gary and Oza Mae Thorne Stephens. Mrs. Brannock was retired from the hotel business after many years of service and was a member of Greenville First Presbyterian Church. She was an avid Gamecock and football fan and looked forward to watching hummingbirds every spring.
In addition to her husband of 40 years, Mrs. Brannock is survived by two daughters, Virginia Ann "Ginny" Robinson and husband David, and Linda Jean Curtis; three sons, Mike Brannock, Gary Brannock, and Terry Brannock and wife Treena; three grandchildren, Halston Ann Poole, R. Michael Brannock, Jr., and Jason Brannock; and two great grandchildren, Penelope Ann Poole and Riley Grace Poole. She was predeceased by a sister, Virginia Mae Stephens; and two brothers, Palmer Stephens and Bobby Stephens.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 2:00 PM at The Mackey Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in Graceland East Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at The Mackey Mortuary prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 3535 Pelham Road, Greenville, SC 29615.

Ralph, Ginny, Linda and family,
I am saddened today for the loss of Ann. I will never forget Daniel and I working with her at Greenville Hotel and all the laughs with Ralph and Ann during that time. My Daniel has been gone 10 years and I understand the void and sadness you must feel. I am praying for you all. God bless you and keep you in this very sad and trying time.
