Gary Rushin Obituary

Gary Wayne Rushin, 40, of New Athens, Ohio, formerly of Waynesburg, died at 10:48 p.m. Monday, February 27, 2017, in Waynesburg.
He was born Sunday, November 28, 1976, in Waynesburg, a son of Judy Whipkey of Waynesburg and the late Pete Rushin.
Mr. Rushin was Protestant.
He enjoyed spending time with family and talking on the telephone.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a brother, Daniel Rushin of Marysville, Calif.; two nieces, Heather Grow and Serenity Rushin; three nephews, Daniel Pierce, Shaun Rushin and Vincent Rushin; and three great-nieces.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of service, Monday, March 6, in Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, owner/director, 197 North Maiden Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370, with the Rev. John Poling officiating. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home.
