George Washington Kelly passed away in Merced California where he was a longtime resident. He worked as a mechanic for Parkers Hardware for 35 years. He was a Sailor in the United States Navy from 1940-1946. He was a life member of V.F.W. in Atwater California.
George is preceded in death by his wife Colleen Kelly. He is survived by his children George Lewis Kelly (Merced), Francis Patrick Kelly (Coulterville), Lon Hawk Kelly (Merced), Ida Mae Nettle (Eugene OR.) and 2 grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on June 19, 2017 from 3-7p.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home located on 1490 B. Street Merced California 95341. The funeral service will be on June 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home with interment following at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella, California.
