George L. Roberts, 86, a lifelong Houstonian passed away on July 9, 2025. Born on January 10, 1939, he attended St. Thomas High School, served in the U.S. Marine Corp. and was co-founder of Fischer's Auto Parts.

George is preceded in death by parents, John C. Roberts and Dora M. Peltier Roberts, first wife Dorothy Roberts, daughter Karen Wright, and siblings Dorothy Fischer (Jim), Rev. E. Arthur Roberts, John Roberts (Sally), Mary Ann Mack (Jim), James Roberts (Mary and Ola Mae), Bill Roberts (Lena) and son-in law Howard Mayeaux.

Survivors include his loving wife, Olivia Roberts, children Debra Lowe (Drew), Deanna Mayeaux-Perkins (Jim), Laura Chambers (Harry), and Kenneth Roberts, brothers Walter "Butch" Roberts (Christina) and Thomas Roberts (Joyce), 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on July 21, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a vigil prayer service from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer, Houston, TX 77077. The funeral Mass is scheduled for July 22, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 8200 Roos, Houston, TX 77036.
