Glen Franklin Jackman

November 16, 1932 - October 4, 2025

Glen Franklin Jackman was born in Marmaduke, Arkansas right in the middle of the great depression. He was raised on a small farm with his father, mother, sister, and brother. Glen was the youngest of three children.

When Glen turned 18 years old he enlisted in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Ellsworth Air Force Base in Rapid City, South Dakota.

At 20, he met and married the love of his life Arlene Dyke, who was from Lead, South Dakota in the middle of the Black Hills. In 1960 the Jackman family moved to the Desert Southwest and resided in the sunny city of El Centro, California. In 1980 they moved across the sand dunes to even sunnier Yuma, Arizona.

Glen and Arlene have three children, Glenda Johnson (Kenny), Cindy Craig (Todd), and Tracey Turner (Brian). They have 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Glen and Arlene were married for 72 years which is a testament of their enduring love towards each other.

Glen was the best husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend to so many. We were blessed and touched by his incredible life. Glen was always ready to pray and encourage us all in the Lord. We are all better for the wisdom that he gave us.

Glen loved his family, his church, and most of all his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

There will be a celebration of Life on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 1:00 PM. The celebration will be held at Johnson Mortuary.
