Dr. Henry Fusner was a person who made the world a better place, with his love of sharing knowledge, his musical excellence, and his caring for those with whom he came in contact. I studied with him at the Cleveland Institute of Music for me, he will always remain a part of my world! Condolences to his family!

As student at Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, I sang in the Church of the Covenant Choir. Henry was a great teacher and friend both directly and by example. We sang an incredible number of works from Medieval to Modern, and we received a music education not to be equaled anywhere else.

Dr. Fusner was my teacher, friend, and the organist at my home church in Cleveland. I will never forget his excellent teaching of organ and church music, nor the high quality of his performing, conducting and choral music choices which inspired and guided me throughout my education, career and personal life. He was unassuming, and a very sweet and caring man. He will be missed. My condolences to his family, colleagues and students who were fortunate to know him and work with him.
