Preceded in death by wife, Lucille; and sister, Helen Leaders.
Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, William and Cindy, Gary and Lori; grandchildren: Sara and Jason Williams, Katie and Phil Wail, Stacey and fiancé Jeremy Holtberg, Ashley and Kevin Gleason; 8 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.
VISITATION: Wednesday, from 5-7pm, at Kahler - Dolce Mortuary. FUNERAL SERVICE: Thursday, 2pm, at Mortuary. Interment: Cedar Dale Cemetery. Memorials suggested to Sarpy County Historical Museum or Papillion Fire & Rescue.

We were so sorry to hear of Howard's passing. Your folks and mine were great friends and "Missesota fishing buddies". I felt is was something special when Howard let me take my two young boys down to fish on the ponds by the farm.

HT the Double "E". Where do you start? He was a great farm neighbor, friend, cattle feeder and farmer. He always talked about his struggles with Cockleburs and Button Weeds. He used to say, " When I am at Kahler's, I should have Cocklebur in one hand and a Button Weed in the other because I have spent my life trying to get rid of both." I always looked forward to spending time with him, you never knew what was going to happen. He will be missed by many. He was a great man. Dean and Cindy Fornoff
