Isabel Johnson

JOHNSON Isabel Johnson, 85, of Columbus, died on April 26, 2012. She was born in Columbus, Ohio to the late Sterling and Amelia Hardy on October 21, 1926. Isabel, in addition to being a loving wife and mother, had a long career as an executive assistant. In her early career she worked in the State Treasurers office sparking a lifelong interest in politics. Isabel retired from the Wallick Companies where she served as Executive Secretary to Jack Wallick and Sandford Goldston for 37 years. In addition to her parents, Isabel was preceded in death by her husband William Johnson; and her siblings Amelia Elaine Hoppe (Richard), and James Sterling Hardy. She is survived by her daughter, Jodelle (Michael) Carder; two grand-children, Mackenzie and Alex Carder; and many nieces and nephews. Isabel enjoyed an active life with a fun group of friends and neighbors at Windward Trace. A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Emeritus at Chestnut Hill.
