My dad, Carl, worked alongside Jack for many years at Dameron-Pierson. My father always held him in the highest regard. I feel lucky to have known both Jack and Dutch. I worked summer jobs at the office furniture company in my teens. I am now in my mid-50's and have worked in many places. I know this: I measure every boss I've had over my lifetime against the scale of Mr. Jack Becker. Almost all have come up short. He was special, the complete package--authority, knowledge, compassion, humility, kindness and strength. I know my father loved him. 88 years old. I am glad God granted such a wonderful man such a long, prosperous life. My condolences to the Becker family.
