Our angel, our superstar, our scholar, our starting pitcher, our sunrise, our sunset, left this Earth to be with Jesus on April 13, 2018. Jack Floyd Collingsworth Jr. was born on October 23, 1993 in Fontana, CA. He was a graduate of Apple Valley Christian School. He earned a degree in economics and political science from Indiana Wesleyan University, and was Vice President of Big Apple Automotive, the family business. Jack Floyd Collingsworth Jr. is survived by his parents Jack and Melinda Collingsworth of Apple Valley, CA; brothers William (Jessica) Collingsworth of Apple Valley, CA, and Matthew Pendarvis of Kansas City, MO; sister Sarah (Adam) Stiltner of Apple Valley, CA; and maternal grandmother Carolyn Laird of Grandview, MO; and numerous cousins, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, coaches, and teammates. A ceremony to celebrate the life of Jack Floyd Collingsworth Jr. is being held at Sunset Hills Memorial Park and Mortuary on Sunday, 4/22/2018 starting at 10:00 AM with Jeff Barbour officiating.

As I watched JC grow up and get bigger over the years, I watched his accomplishments grow and get bigger as well. His zenith had no end, an outstanding young man. As sad as this time is, I'm honored to have known him, and I honor the parents that raised him.
