Jack Woodside Obituary
Indianapolis - Jack M. Woodside, age 67 of Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018. Jack was born in Indianapolis on April 20, 1950 to the late John M. Woodside, Jr and Helen Hesper Woodside.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Jo Higgs Woodside; his much-loved son and daughter in law, J. Michael Woodside, Jr and Amber Janitz Woodside, and his treasured granddaughters, McElla Lynn and Julianna Monroe Woodside who loved their "Pepop". He will be greatly missed by his dog and companion, Yankee.
Jack was a graduate of Brebeuf High School and Purdue University. Following graduation from Purdue, Jack worked as an Independent Insurance agent over 20 years. He also worked for the Indiana Pacers and the Capital Improvement Board after a career change. He returned to a career where he could enjoy his love of sports.
Family and friends will gather on Monday March 19th from 3:00 to 7:00 pm at Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 20th at 11:00 am at St. Luke Catholic Church.
