Missing this bright light on the day she passed.

Jacqueline's mother and dad were always special to me and my family, and I adored them. I held her right after she was born, the most beautiful baby I had ever seen. She always seemed so happy when we were able to get together, in recent years picking me up at the airport and driving me to Wade for a reunion, talking all the way. We had a good visit again the last time the cousins got together in 2009. I loved her and will always remember her impish twinkly smile. I only regret that we were always so far away from each other. My family join in sending condolences to all the Ticknor and Lane families. From her cousin Juawanna B.

I am so sorry that my mother and I were unable to attend. Mom really wanted to come but her health just would not allow it. Jacqueline was a beautiful cousin inside and out.

She was a nice friend in high school. Her personality was great. She will be missed. I was Nancy Beck, then.

Dearest Ticknor and Lane Families:
I was so sorry to hear about Jacqueline's passing. As a little girl on Club Oak Drive, I remember playing in the "jungle" with Bill and Chris but when we went inside to get a drink of water, I used to go quietly down the hall to look at Jacqueline's room. I thought it was the most beautiful room I'd ever seen. Canopy bed, all white furniture, powder blue walls, a fancy dressing table, her very own bathroom...and she always looked like she stepped out right out of a magazine. I remember her little gray car she used to drive, too. We could hear it coming down the street. But what I will always remember most about her is those gorgeous blue eyes, her beautiful smile and her willingness to share her faith with people she met. Now she's in the place she told others about. And when she entered Heaven I hope she heard, "Welcome home, good and faithful servant!" because that's exactly what she was.

Mom,
There are so many things I will miss about you- holding your warm hand and kissing your cheek- but I am so happy you are in Heaven and are no longer sick! This makes me so happy for you. So many memories that you left with. Thank you for being you.
All my love forever- Lesley
