Jaime Ledesma Obituary
Lansing
Born July 28, 1954 to the late Eustacio and Olivia (Flores) Ledesma in East Lansing, MI, Jaime passed away November 26, 2014.
Jaime was a heavy equipment operator/mechanic with the Grand Trunk/Canadian National Railways. He loved classic cars, car shows, being outdoors, especially by a fire or in his garage, and socializing at restaurants, such as Sparty's Coney Island or Bob Evans in Dewitt. Jaime loved his nieces and nephews unconditionally and will be missed by all.
Surviving are his son, Jaime Ledesma; grandchildren, Anthony Elliott, Serena Ledesma, Alissa Ledesma, Emelia Ledesma; brothers, Francisco Ledesma, Jose (Irene) Ledesma, Richardo (Rhonda) Ledesma, Juan Ledesma, Mario (Susan) Ledesma, and sisters, Veronica Ledesma, Elizabeth (Fred) Thorne, Teresa Cooley and Mary Puente.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 4, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 East Grand River Avenue, East Lansing, MI with Minister Rudy R. Escobar officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, December 3, 2014, 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m.

To the Ledesma family. Jimmy was a childhood friend of mine. But as we grew up we each went our own ways. And to differnt parts of the United States. He was a charitar for care but he brought some smile to people along the road he traveled. I remember some of the family Frank,Jimmy. I went to school with Frank. As Jimmy passes from this life to his homecoming in heaven remember the love and good times he had with each of you. And I'm sure the love he had for his granchildren will be a good memory for them. Jimmy My old friend.I was happy to see you in the hospital I'm sorry for missing out these last few years. I go back to the time we were pushing a old car for Joe Archer with Freddy Escobar and I and you and freddy were on the front hood and you slipped off and the car rolled over you, we put you and the car pushed you to Aunt Cruz's drive way and we all ran. We thought you were hurt bad. What we did as kid's were sometimes thought less but in the end it made us stronger. That was just many memory's going though my mind as I seen you laying there. Thank you for being the level headed one. Tears come flowing out writing this but they are of happy thoughts. I hope they have old chevy's in heaven. Your best friend. Tommy.
