January 27, 1936 – February 4, 2018
James Cameron Alexander, also known as "JC", passed suddenly on Sunday, February 4, 2018. He was a musician, singer, song writer, and truck driver who loved to entertain seniors after retiring from driving.
He was an incredible story-teller that could make you laugh from all his adventures as a kid growing up in the airport district of Modesto, to riding the rails at 14 years old, going back and forth from Modesto to Texas, and learning the ropes from the hobos.
He spent 28 years with his "Sweet Donna Lee" until her death in September of 2009.
He is survived by his son James Cameron Alexander Jr., daughter Margaret Elizebeth Gonzalez, and stepdaughter Tracy Rae Boss.
James was an awesome guy to know and an awesome friend to have. We will miss him.
Burial will be held at Red Bluff Cemetery. Service arrangements are pending.

Jim was a great entertainer at our Jam Sessions here in Redding ca area
his songs and help with other persons will always remain in our hearts. Jim and Donna were always first to arrive at My Jam.s and talked of their wonder dog and would leave for home after the sessions. his advise and presents have been missed with his moving to Modesto. I first met Jim and Donna at their Bar in modesto..listening to Jims music friday and saturday nights...Rest well Jim Play music with all those that have Joined together in Heavan. With Gods Blessings and our prayers...Ken
