My youngest daughter told me, "I'm sorry about your Dad, mommy, I can't stop thinking about it. He was my best friend". Her eyes were brimming with tears, but a moment later, her face brightened and she said, "But he didn't die! He's in our minds and in our hearts and he'll be with us always!" So true, baby girl, so true. I Love You Forever Dad. And I will keep my promise to you.

Evelyn and the family of Jim Brown. We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Jim. Having worked with him and seeing him at the VFW and 40et8 with friends.We had some good times. He will be sorely missed. Our best to all the family. Stay strong.

I am so sorry for your loss. We were past members of the post and knew Jim to be a wonderful warmhearted man. He will leave a big whole in the hearts of the people who knew him. Our prayers are with his family and may you find healing in him memories as a great man.

I am sorry for your lose Jim was an awesome man he had a heart for everyone.I remember coming home from school and Cassie would ask if I wanted to go somewhere whether it be lake michigan to jump rocks all the way out to the pier or go to the movies whatever it was Jim was always ready to go it was a great adventure just being with him, you never knew what to expect or what would happen next. Thanks Jim for all the memories you will always be in my heart.
