Not sure what to say?

I have a lot of good memories of Mr Butler. He was my teacher at Seymour middle school. Im sorry to hear of his passing and my heart goes out to all his friends and family.

Cousin Jim, You will always be remembered as someone who was dedicated to his family and his community. Thank you for always being there, and for truly being an example for others to follow. No matter what hat you were wearing for the day, you were never too busy to help out, or to stop and and just say hello- and I'll never forget it. You're now a part of that elite squad in Heaven, fighting fires with JB and Uncle Pete. Be strong, Barbara and Janice- may God bless you both. ...

So sorry to hear of Mr. Butler's passing. I had him as a 5th grade teacher and can honestly say I have incredible math skills due to his math drills. I remember recorded times table quizzes and how challenging they were. He was a strict teacher but held command and respect of his classroom. We knew he was also a policeman so that probably helped. Reading his accomplishments revealed many things about him that I did not know. Condolences to his family. Be proud that your dad impacted so many...

Condolences and hugs to the family :(

My sincere condolences to Jim's family. I taught with Jim at Center School in Seymour. He was a wonderful, kind person and teacher.
