So sorry to hear of Mr. Butler's passing. I had him as a 5th grade teacher and can honestly say I have incredible math skills due to his math drills. I remember recorded times table quizzes and how challenging they were. He was a strict teacher but held command and respect of his classroom. We knew he was also a policeman so that probably helped.
