It's strange how it seems like only yesterday we were so young up at the lake at grandma and grandpa Heare's house. I know this hurts more than words could ever convey. I wish there was something I could do or say that would lighten the load, but what I do know is that Jimmy will be waiting for everyone in heaven. He was and always will be a beautiful young man in spirit, soul, and body.

Rebecca and Family,
While I never had the honor of meeting James personally, I am fortunate to share in his life through his mother and family and the stories they share. As I carry an angel with me every day, I am reminded he is looking down and smiling upon those who love him and his family. May God bless you and keep you.

I love and miss you more than you will ever know. This journey does not get any easier, but it changes along the way. I know you are safe and watching over me, your sister and Steve. I think of you every single day and have received and value the fabulous signs you send to me. The pink item was the best!! I know you will always be watching down on Jillianne and your niece Tyler Kaye. I will rock her every chance I get and tell her stories about her Uncle James. I am sure she will have some of you in her. The tender heart, the smile, the orneriness, the time out chair and all the love you could ever give to her. She will light up a room when she walks in just like you, she will make us all laugh again and she will be a blessing to us all. Please continue to watch over Uncle Jeff and Grandma and Granpa Lobsiger. They are all so excited about the new baby!! In the heavens, watch over Steve’s parents and all the great grandparents. I long to hug and touch you and will see you again someday. Until then we keep your memory alive with a benefit each year for the Humane Society and we rescued a doxie this year. You would love her and the girls miss you too. For now the memories will bring me your love each day, love from the past, courage in the present and so much hope for the future. I love you now and all ways, my precious Jim baby. Your loving Ma-

Dear Jimmy,
It has been three years today since you have gone to heaven and we still miss you very much! But we are sure you are in a much better place and do not have to deal with your illness each and every day, and that is a blessing to us. At times we felt your illiness was a little overwhelming to you. As you know you are about to become an uncle to Tyler Kaye Bovine. She is to make her appearence in about three weeks. We are all very excited and anxious meet her. We know you would have enjoyed spending time with her, as you always had a place in your heart for little children. She would have been very special to you because she is sister JIllianne's baby. We know you will be watching over her from heaven and enjoying her as well. We will always let her know about you and show her pictures of you, so she will learn about you. We hope in the future to make an photo album to give to Tyler and Jilli for references so when they talk about you , Tyler can see who you are. Not a day goes by that we do not think of you, we love you very much!

Rebecca,
Your journey has not been easy and I can not tell you that it is going to get any easier. But you must know you have friends that will continue to support you and love you. When it gets unbearable, lean on your friends and think of all the good times you had with James. He was very lucky to have a Mom as special as you. James will be forever missed and his spirit will live through you. He is now your Guardian Angle!

Rebecca,
You are always in our thoughts and prayers. I can't imagine losing a child or grandchild. Nothing can ever break the bond between Jimmy and you. Memories are very precious.
I remember when Jimmy was four+ and followed me downstairs to the laundry room, which has no windows, and as soon as I got to the middle of the room he turned the light out and shut the door. He went on his merry way upstairs, as I with hands held out was searching for my way to the door. It must be in the Heare genes, his cousins, Logan and Ashton, have followed his footsteps when they were younger. Mike and I thought of Jimmy when that happened. God bless!

Memories are a gift unlike any other. Whether it be a picture, a song, or in remembering the love James had of animals and creating the "First Annual Feed the Puppies and Kittens Benefit" in his memory. Your family and friends, such as I, are very appreciative that you have allowed us to share in your journey. In doing so you have taught us that each day we should count our blessings and be in support of each other.

To dear Rebecca,
I can only speak to the James I know here in the present...the James that continues to exist despite the reality of things - despite this seemly tangible human picture. This young man's spirit is strong and unstoppable. I see it. You see it. And, the more you "see," the more everything becomes lighter...the more everything becomes brighter...and eventually, everything becomes whole. That's what's meant to be. So, it shall.

Dear Rebecca and Steve,
My heart has never left your side for the past three years. I know that Jimmy is with you day and night, guiding and comforting when needed. I personally am so very proud of how far you have come in your journey and how you have created such a beautiful legacy in memory of Jimmy. Although Jimmy is missed terribly, he has a very important job watching over all of you. I continue to wear his yellow jacket when I walk, and feel his protection over me. I will always be there for you, if not in person, in thought and desire. Thank you Jimmy for allowing me to be a part of your life. Sincerely,

I just want you to know that your Mom, grandfather, Tim Houser, Lance and Sasha and I have missed you this past hunting season. Dear Rebecca,
God gave James the special gift of eternal life in heaven with him. While we on earth have to wait to be called, he was chosen, for eternal happiness in a place free from stress, uncertainty, and worry. There are no unhappy and sad days in heaven, only joy and happiness. God is taking good care of James. And God has given you beautiful, everlasting memories that only a mother can have. James is always with you and always will be. Look up to the sky and all around you to feel his presence in the beauty that surrounds you. He is walking with God now but will never forget you, his mom, the women that gave him life, joy, and happiness on earth.

Rebecca and family, Before I left for Europe last summer I was given an angel to keep me safe and a coin to remind me. Even though I didn't know Jimmy, I think he was watching over me (probably because his mom told him he better:). I remember several times I would have missed my train but for a kind stranger offering to carry my suitcase. It may seem small, but to a girl traveling Europe alone, it meant the world. Thank you for sharing your angel when I needed one most.

Dear Ken and Jamie and Bill and Virginia:
I just got home from mass and I was remembering Jim all the way thru it. As I was sitting there I thought what have I to fear as I find myself leaning on family and and Christ's ever lasting arms.
They sang "Brighten the Corner" at mass. Please know that I feel your grief and let me in some small way give you a little sun shine with my concerns in the next few months...GOD'S PEACE BE WITH YOU........sharon
