James Howell Obituary
79, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2015.
He was a retired map maker for the Defense Mapping Agency and a member of FOP. He was a Founding Member and lifetime volunteer for the Southwest Center.
He was preceded in death by his wife Nada, daughter Beverly and grandson, Gabe.
Survivors include two daughters: Joyce Oechsli (David), Cindy Haysley (Neil); one son, Jamie Howell (Lisa) eight grandchildren, Andrew, Zachary, Derek, Tiffany, Hannah, Rebecca, Logan , Lorin and eight great-grandchildren.
Service will be noon Saturday at W.G. Hardy Funeral Home and Cremation Service with cremation to follow. Visitation is Friday 2-8 p.m. and after 10 a.m. Saturday.
Memorial contribution to Southwest Center for the Developmentally Disabled.

I love all of you. I have wonderful memories of time spent with you in Louisville when we would come up in the summer. Uncle Jimmie always smiled the sweetest smile when I would see him. I will miss you, but, I know Aunt Nada, Beverly and Gabe are enjoying time with you now. Love, Karen

Thoughts and Prayers to you and your family. I have so many awesome memories of Uncle Jimmy. I remember the time he tooks us five younger kids up to the Pond at Uncle Aubin's old house and helped me put a worm on my fishing Rod. The many times he watched us at the Pool and driving us around the city when we would visit. Always carting us somewhere. The best is waking up in the morning at his house he would be up first talking to Aunt Nada as she was cooking pancakes. I would wake up first come down looking like the walking dead. He would say hellow beautiful and then proceeded to see if wanted a pancake. I ask could I have three and he would say "are you sure you can fit three in that little bellie of yours". I didn't tell him I could have eatin 8. I will miss him dearly, but knowing that he will join Aunt Nada, Beveraly and Gabe makes me smile. I Know he has been lonsome since his better half had gone before him. God bless you Uncle Jimmy and love you forever.

So hard saying goodbye to a wonderful Uncle. I have so many happy memories of the time spent at Aunt Nada and Uncle Jimmy's home when my mother was in the hospital delivering new siblings. My heart breaks for all of you during this difficult time know that I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers - Love you!

May the love of God and the fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ and the strength of the Holy Spirit be with Jimmy and his family during this very sad time in their lives. I find great comfort in knowing that Jimmy is in the arms of Nada and Beverly and Gabe. Jimmy, may the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand. Oh, and may you be in the presence of God a day before the Devil knows your gone. :)
