Hearing about Steve from David Conway brings back bittersweet memories of the early 70's in Odessa. I remember Steve from when he played in Knightsbridge. He was a really good musician, had a cool stage presence, and a great smile. I remember Steve talking a lot about his little kid Chris. It is heartwarming to read this guest book and see that Steve had a big family, and I send my deepest condolences to you all.

God bless you, Steve! I always enjoyed you hotrodding that GTO around West Texas like crazy, and that was when you seemed to be happiest. We played a lot of rock and roll together, in between the hot roding, and that made for an unforgettable memory of our friendship, and our youth.

Rest in Peace my friend. Dana and I met Steve when he moved here from West Texas. We had a lot in common; last name, from Odessa, Brownwood roots, and lots more. We bought a used Ford F150 from Steve when he was a used car salesman, and had fun doing it ! I will miss his sense of humor and Texas draw.
