I served with Jim on Detachment 5 in HA(L)-3 during 1967-68 and am saddened to learn of his passing. We were in touch periodically through the years but lost contact at some point. We reconnected at the last Seawolf reunion in Charleston. My heartfelt condolences to his family! He was a good man and a great American!

From one AO another, it is always a sad time when one of us departs, and we move on to our next great mission and we leave behind those we love and love us very dearly. And yet we going to go join our brothers and sisters that have gone ahead before us so I know that you have a smile on your face and a cup of coffee in your hand LOL so rest well my brother ordnanceman and know that when you leave this earth you left people talking and smiling and where you are going you're making people talk and smile.
