James Wimsatt Obituary
Louisville - James Kenneth Wimsatt, 58 passed suddenly on May 29, 2018. He was predeceased by his wife, Roberta and his mother, Mary "Peggy".
"Mr. Kenny" worked for JCPS as a bus monitor, ensuring that the special needs students arrived safely to school or home each day. He was a lifelong member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church, an Eagle Scout, and a former volunteer firefighter at Black Mudd Fire Dept.
Kenny is survived by his son, Erik (Erin Wallace); father, Charles; siblings, Charles (Kimberly), Steven, Dianne (John) Wolfe, Rick (Peggy), Thomas, Mike, and Karen (Ted) Owen; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a grandchild, due in August, that he was looking forward to meeting.
Visitation is from 3 - 8pm on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Arch L. Heady Resthaven.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 10 am, St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 1816 Rangeland Rd, followed by entombment at Resthaven Memorial Park.
