Dearest Joanne,

So terribly sorry to hear about your delightful mother Jane. She was the young, beautiful mom to us all, and I always remember first meeting her, when we were about 10. she seemed like the most fun mother I could imagine, grilling hot dogs outside and always with such a kind, and devilish demeanor. I never forgot how comfortable she made me, and I even brought y newborn over for her to see. I would bump into your parents when I voted in Sudbury, and they were my special neighbors who just a little bit more cool than everyone one else. I am so glad I met you and your wonderful family. Please look me up. You did a marvelous job. Love, Vickie XX

Dear Jo-anne,

I would like to send you a card to Sudbury... as I was so fond of Jane. I now live in Vermont, so not too far away. THere is no good time to lose one's mother, I'm so very sorry. Love, Vickie from Goodman Hill Road when we were growing up.. Jane was so fun and sweet to me. Hope you are okay.
