Jeanne Watson Obituary
Mrs. Watson was born April 11, 1922 in Hat Creek, California, and was the daughter of the late Alan and Dorothy Brown. Mrs. Watson owned and operated Charlotte Van Storage for several years along with her husband before becoming a homemaker. Mrs. Watson had a strong love for her family and will be truly missed.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 30, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. in the Myers Park United Methodist Church to celebrate the life of Mrs. Jeanne Watson, with Dr. Julian Aldridge officiating and the assistance of Dr. Ron Robinson. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Monday in the Fellowship Class of the church. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park.
Mrs. Watson is survived by her husband, Frank E. Watson, Jr. of the home, one son, Frank E. Watson III, and his wife Linda, of Waxhaw, NC; one daughter, Donna Watson Hearne and her husband Ronald, of Waxhaw, NC; one sister, Gwyned Heacock, of Anderson California; five grandchildren, Doug and David Hearne, Ronda Gilliard, Frank Watson IV, and Patricia Watson; six great grandchildren, Mason, Madison, Mackenzy, Mahlon and Dakota Hearne and Graci Gilliard; one sister-in-law, Lois Brown of Hat Creek, California.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Myers Park United Methodist Church Fellowship Class, 1020 Providence Rd., Charlotte NC 28207.
Arrangements are in the care of McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe, 204 South Main St., Monroe, NC 28112.
