Jeffrey Armstrong Obituary

1980 ~ 2014
Jeffrey David Armstrong completed his earthly journey and peacefully returned home to his Father in Heaven April 12, 2014 in Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
Son of George E. and Pamela Bellamy Armstrong, he was born September 26, 1980 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the fifth of five children. He was very loved from the beginning and a very special soul from the start. At 14 months of age Jeffrey contracted Spinal Meningitis and began his new journey in this life. He may not have been able to see, or speak or really communicate with others through customary means, but he was able to teach them through unconditional love, patience, smiles and laughs. He touched and changed many lives over his short 33 years. He now continues to the next step in our Heavenly Father's Plan. His spirit was met with love, excitement and open arms of his Daddy, Grandpa's, grandma and other loved ones.
He is survived by his mother; brothers: Greg (Kris), Steve (Amanda), Mike (Kim); sister, Amy Santos (Ze); and 13 nieces and nephews, who loved him dearly, Lance, Alec, Brooke, Kiera, Abbie, Bradee, Maggie, Maddie, Adam, Jack, Sarah, Tori and Rachel.
We would like to thank the West Jordan Care Center, and their amazing staff, for having taken care of him so well over the last 15 years. They were his daily family who loved him so much and made his life a happy one. Thanks also to TinyTots who cared for him in his earlier years.
Graveside celebration services will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.

Jeff we love you and you will be missed. Pam and Amy he was a great guy. I used to look forward to working with him whenever I got the chance. I remember dressing him up for Halloween and taking him outside for walks when he was angry or not feeling well. I remember taking him home for Sunday dinner. In life we strive to better ourselves by learning from the things that we do, Jeff had a way of teaching you those things without even saying a word.

One of my favorite memories of Jeffy, was a Christmas Eve when Natalie was sick. Every time she would cough or sneeze, Jeffy thought it was the funniest thing in the world and would laugh and laugh. I will miss his laugh. We love you.

Amy and family: I am so blessed to know Jeffrey. I called him "Jeffrey-Effrey" and I found that he liked hearing the sound of my fingers snapping on his head above his ear. He'd laugh and lean towards me for more. Jeffrey's gentle spirit is with all of us who were so privileged to have him in our lives,

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Wish I could have been a fly on the wall to witness the happy reunion that took place when Jeff returned home. Love you all, my Armstrong family!
