Cool, Sr.
1964-2013
Jeffrey G. "Jeff" Cool, Sr., age 48, of Pensacola, passed away March 8, 2013 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born March 9, 1964 in Pensacola, FL to Donald & Gail Marie Cool.
Jeff was a longtime employee with Walmart.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Cool. Survivors include his son, Jeffrey G. Cool, Jr; two daughters, Jennifer Tolbert and Ashley Cool; his mother, Gail Cool Kraft; his brother, Emery Cool; two sisters, Kimberly (Bill) Robbins and Sonya Merritt, all of Pensacola; and last but not least his canine friend, Rascal.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 13, 2013 from 5-7 PM at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with the rosary at 6 PM. Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
National Cremation & Burial Society of Milton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

I didn't know Jeff very well, but any time I drove down our bumpy road past his house he would smile and wave to me. He was a good neighbor. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Cool family. Rest in peace, Jeff.

Ms Gail, Emery,Sonya and Kim,
I am sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. Even though I have not seen Jeff for some time I cherished him as a friend and a brother. As Annie and Jeanne said St. John's would not have been the same for all of us without Jeff. I have many memories of great fun and trouble that we caused at St. John's and quite a few spankings from the nuns. Perhaps my fondest memories were the sleep overs in the garage converted to a loft that Emery and Jeff shared. It was and honor and privilege to share those childhood days at St. John's with you Jeff! RIP my friend.

I am so sorry to hear about Jeff. St John's would not have been the same with out him and him getting called to the front of the cafeteria by Sr. Placeda on a regular basis. I have so many memories of Jeff and his family. Those were the days. RIP Jeff... Kim, and Sonya I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. Love Annie McHale

I am so sorry to hear about Jeff. He was my very first boyfriend at St. John's. He would pick me up on his bike and take me to Burger King and spent a lot of time talking on the phone. My thoughts and prayers go out to all who loved him. He was a great guy!

So sorry to hear about Jeff's passing. St. John School would not have been the same without him way back then. We would see each other at Walmart and he always had that grin of his. He will be missed. My prayers and my families prayers go out to all of you.

I didn't know Jeff, but I went to Catholic High School with his brother Emory. So very sorry for your loss... I've had to deal with many deaths due to cancer, and the only words of comfort I can offer is that he is no longer suffering and that is truly wonderful!! My sympathies go out to you and your family...

Jeff it was a pleasure to have known you..though i only knew you for a short period of time you were a very kind hearted person with a gentle soul who was always willing to help others..And i will always remember that of you.. may you r.i.p and enjoy the rest of your eternity as you walk the streets of gold with god by your side free of worry and free of pain.. and to the family of Jeff SR you are all in my thoughts and prayers..
