Jessica Hardin Obituary
Miss Hardin died Oct. 9 at University Hospital in Birmingham. A sophomore at Childersburg High School, her greatest joy in life was being with her family and friends.
She is survived by her parents, Greg and Leslie Hardin of Childersburg; her brother, Lane Hardin of Childersburg; grandparents, G.M. Gallaspy and Sandra Crosby Gallaspy of Chelsea; her great-grandfather, G.M. Gallaspy Sr. of Kosciusko, Miss.; and aunts Rachel Gallaspy Bailey (Jeremy) of Chelsea, Andrea Gallaspy Maddox (Jonathan) of Chelsea, Lynn Abbott of Childersburg, Sandra Abbott Klopp (Kevin) of Sylacauga and Debra Abbott of Sylacauga.
Pallbearers will be Chris Willis, Jason Haisten, Jason Pilkington, Ken Hosey, Ray Vickers and Scotty Morrison.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Oct. 10, from 6-8 p.m. at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel.
The body will lie in state Monday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.

Curtis and Son Funeral Home Childersburg Chapel will direct the service.

As I continue to view each message, I see more and more what a blessing this precious young lady was to so many people. May God bless your family with this knowing. My heart still breaks for you, Leslie, more so because I am a mother and I hurt with a mother's heart. I know God has you wrapped in His loving arms, because this is one of the prayers so many people have prayed for you. I also know He has His Angels camped all around you to comfort you and your family. Guys words cant express how sorry I am for your loss. I have struggled trying to find the words to express how I feel but have yet to figure them out so Ill just start writing and see what comes out.You guys have been on my mind and in my prayers since I first heard. You should be extremely proud to have raised a young woman that touched so many peoples lives. My Prayers go out to the Hardin family. Jessica was a wonderful girl, and I have memories of playing with her when I was little. I'll miss her very much. and I pray that God will lift the Hardin family up, Jessica is smiling down on them. Although nothing can replace her, we still know she is watching.
