Joan Baran Obituary

Joan Baran

Born Johanna Romaine Burdash on December 29, 1928 in Binghamton N.Y. She passed peacefully on December 10, 2015 with her children at her side.

Johanna is survived by her daughter, Michelle Baran of Reno, NV and her son, John Baran of Chatsworth, CA. She also leaves her brother Robert Burdash and five nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Baran.

Never one to sit still for long she enjoyed bowling, golf, travel, volunteering, gardening, knitting and a competitive game of cards.

Graveside Services will be held at San Fernando Mission Catholic Cemetery in Mission Hills, CA.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Salvation Army.
