John L. Boggs

1927 - 2014

Boggs John L. Boggs passed away on October 31, 2014 at the Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio, after a full and wondrous life. John was a kind and generous gentleman, a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, a soldier, a pharmacist, a dedicated OSU Buckeyes fan, and a true friend to so many. John was born on January 8, 1927 in Circleville, Ohio to John G. and Frances S. Boggs. He was preceded in death by the love of his life for 60 years, Barbara G. Boggs, and by his parents and his sister, Margaret B. Wantz. He is survived by his daughters, Susan Lime (Bob Mongiello), Lynn Ebright (Rod), Frances Kowal (Tom); his grandchildren, Jonathan Ebright, Alastair Lime, Francie Wooster (James), Drew Kowal, Lindsey Kowal (David Szeto), and Katie Kowal; sister-in-law Linda Morse (Richard) and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 3 p.m. at First Community Church, 1320 Cambridge Blvd, Columbus. Rev. James M. Long officiating.
