John Gill Obituary
Indianapolis - John C. Gill ("Jack"), 92, passed away peacefully in the presence of family on January 29, 2018.
He was a Purdue University graduate of engineering and worked for Detroit Diesel Allison for nearly 45 years.
Jack is survived by his wife of 67 years, Rosemary K. Gill, his 4 children, Tom Gill of Rockford, IL, Dr. Jim Gill (Vicki) of Gastonia, NC, Bob Gill (Kathleen) of Carmel, IN and Carole Gill Yates (Patrick) of Louisville, KY. He is also survived by 9 loving grandchildren, Jordan, Ben, Katie (Paul), Spencer (Joelle), Jenifer Lauren, Patrick, Taylor and Lexi.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Gussie Gill and brother Paul Gill.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 2, 2018 from 2-3 PM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 3:00 PM at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery Chapel, 9001 Haverstick Rd., Indianapolis, IN.

Dear Rosie and family ,
We are so sorry to read of Jack's passing. You ALL
were wonderful neighbors for many years in Steinmeier and we will always remember you.
I can still picture Jack going for his daily run.
