I just heard of John's death, and am so very shocked and saddened by this. I have not seen John in many years, but he was one of the best, most caring, biggest-hearted guys I knew. I was close friends with Dennis and knew John through him for many years. God bless you all in this tough time.

Melanie,
We will miss John and remember him fondly with each passing day. He will always be special to me for the care he took in the car that I later was fortunate enough to own. My friends and I named the car Johnny. I kept his handgun magazines on the dash until they were too faded to recognize any more. John and I always had a good laugh at that. I figured he was helping to watch out for me while I was running around with my friends. I will always remember John's quick smile and laughter. He made everyone feel welcome to be around. I was blessed to have known him. We love you and think of you daily.
