John Joyce Obituary
John D. age 82 of Warren, July 27, 2017. Born in Canada, attended Queen's University before transferring to U of M for graduate studies where he met his caring wife. Computer Research Engineer for General Motors for 35 years. Proud Rotarian and world traveler. Beloved husband of Joyce for over 57 years. Loving father of David (Lisa), Karen (the late John) and Michael. Treasured grandfather of Catie Smith, Alexa, Dalton, Victoria Guy and the late Zachary. He cherished his special dogs; Minnie and Ellie. John's family will receive friends for a Memorial Gathering on Saturday, August 12th from 9AM until time of service 10AM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13-1/2 Mile), Warren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rotary.org or leaderdog.org.

I was fortunate to have worked in John's group with Ray Sarraga for several years as a contractor. He was a kind and fair man. He was very supportive of me as a working mother, which I appreciated.
