Helene, Gina and all family members, I am so saddened by your loss. It's been so many years since I have spent time with you and John, but I remember how much Everyone who met him, loved him. I still make his special recipe for linguine with white clam sauce! He was kind, talented, thoughtful and so much fun. I'm sure he will always watch over you. I will keep you all in my prayers.

My farewell to a man who was an Air Force Soldier, a man who I knew from youth and the day he was born. A gentle heart, listener, who had a nickname for us all, ie: Jimbo for my dad James, Dotsky for my mom Dorothy, Moe for our grandmother, Ginakins for his sister Regina, and Col for me.

The life of every party, could make anyone laugh at those party's effortlessly and had an open house to every conceivable person who he met and grew to love him for the person he was. Rich or poor, he was your friend. I will dearly miss him in my heart because I know he went right up to heaven and I feel so strongly in my heart the pull or forceful feeling in my heart he is truly present in heaven now.

Showing John honor love he deserves with respect, because he was an Air Force Soldier. I would like to tell his children what a spectacular dad they had and all the little things I know that they don't know about the little things that were significant traits he showed to me just by being himself. I would love to hug Nene as she is up in years and may not have but years ahead of her and tell her thank you for taking me into her home and the meals she cooked, the dresses she made for me, the clothes she ironed for me, the haircuts she purchased for me. Thank her for when I was sad one time for her painting my nails and painting my toenails to make me feel better at the breakfast bar in her home overlooking their pool in her patio (beautiful scene). Remember God would be a servant to those he loved, God washed the feet of people, He was humble. Nene had that trait, she had the miracle of healing and being humble, taking away pain of someone who hurt you. Nene knew how. Nene had worked voluntarily in Churches, raised monies for Churches and Catholic Schools and believe me, she knew how to run an auction to raise money for charities. Nene was significant.

Prayers for John, Nene, and all the ones I love through the years in my heart, to pray for them all, asking God's Spirit to love them, bring them close together, heal them, reassure them, bless them, give them mercy to overcome their intense tears, heaven is their doorstep to God. Give them laughter in times of sorrow, bless them with love and understanding, comfort them, let them feel as I do John's tug in their heart that he made it to heaven. God is Love.

I'm so very sorry for the loss of both John and Michelle. I didn't have the pleasure of knowing them but reading about their story compelled me to reach out to your family. Having recently suffered a loss myself, I know the deep feeling of grief when you talk to someone and then they're gone unexpectedly. Please know that so many people are praying for your family. Know that God is there for you and that He can and will provide comfort during this great tragedy. It will take great strength to get through this, but with God's help you can do it. He will provide exactly what is needed. Again I'm deeply saddened and sorry for your loss. Please pray and remember the good people they they were. Cherish the times you had with them and keep in mind that they are now in the safest place they can be.
