Bridie,
Janet and I just returned from a trip to New Mexico, whereupon we learned of Joe's passing. We were saddened and shocked. Like so many who knew him, we have always thought of Joe as a wonderful friend, a dedicated family man and an outstanding Marine. It truly hurts to think that we will no longer have the opportunity to talk to him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family.

I was very saddened when my mom told me about the loss of Joe O'Connor. As a child growing up next to the O'Connors, I lovingly knew him as Mr.O'Connor. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word to share. He was such a sweet and friendly man. He will always be a fond memory of my childhood. The O'Connor family is in my thoughts and prayers. I'm sure he will be greatly missed.

Mrs. O'Connor,
My time with Joe was very short as we worked together at Perimeter Center, but he was a real gentleman, a trusted friend, and a true professional. I hope you can find comfort in knowing that he was loved by many. Our prayers are with you and your family.
