Joseph Scutero Obituary

SCUTERO, JOSEPH MICHAEL, 67, of Winter Park, FL passed away on July 30, 2011 with his family by his side. He was born on August 28, 1943 in the Bronx, New York. Joe is survived and much loved by Roseanne, his devoted wife of 44 years; their four sons; Vito, Joseph, Brian and Michael; his daughters-in-law: Dana, Teri, Lauren and
Kimberly; and his grandchildren: Cianna, Aubrie, Seth, Noah,
Addison and Braden. He had a long and distinguished career in law enforcement serving 20 years with the New York City Transit Police. After retiring from the NYPD, he relocated his family to Winter Park, FL. where he was very involved in each of his son's athletic accomplishments at Lake Howell High School. Joe then began a 20 year career with the Seminole County Sheriff's Office. He is well loved by all who knew him for his sense of humor, commitment to family, and generous nature. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and New York Giants. Friends and family are invited to a viewing on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 from 4pm to 8pm at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home Goldenrod Chapel, 7520 Aloma Avenue, Winter Park, FL. 32792. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 1pm at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church on Old Howell Branch Road in Winter Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Operation Safety 91, 13750 W. Colonial Dr. Suite 350, Winter Garden, FL. 34787 or OS91.com.
