Joyce Williamson Nance, 76, formerly of Raleigh, NC, died October 15, 2017.
Born on June 19, 1941 in Wilmington, NC, she was the daughter of the late Harry A. and Marie Edge Williamson, Sr.
Joy is survived by her brother, Harry A. Williamson, Jr.; nieces, Lisa Weaver and Anita Biggerstaff; nephew, Brad Williamson; and several great nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her nephew, Michael Williamson. She leaves behind two "furrbabies", Bobbie and Angel, which she loved dearly.
She was an active member of Barefoot Church of North Myrtle Beach, where she attended and volunteered.
A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, October 22 at Edge Cemetery, North Myrtle Beach, SC. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 pm prior to the service at Lee Funeral Home, Little River, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may made to Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach, P.O. Box 3369, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582.

Ms. Joyce's life has been an amazing example to us at Barefoot Church of commitment and persistence in serving Jesus! Her legacy and the work that she did for God will continue to impact and reach people for generations to come. We will miss you greatly, but rejoice with you in Heaven.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Joyce was my best friend. She knew we were sisters of the heart. I will never forget her. Joyce was special. I know she is with Marie and Bear and all the friends and family and furbabies who crossed before her. Love you Joyce!
